Sorry to hear that. Maybe in some ways it's for the best seeing how much the cost is to pass all the fed. regulations on new vehicles is very prohibitive of privately owned companies. Doesn't mean you can't still work some magic in there... ?

I was in a very early customer car built a few weeks ago, and heard no such pinging noises during the cold start in the morning, or later afternoon. It has had the LPE P/T/E upgrade.
