Correct. Take it out and it opens up a lot of behind the seat storage space, unless you have a small child and need a car seat. Look in your owners manual. If you take it out do not lose it. Hard to replace.

From a Ford dealer authorized to work on NGT. I don't know, but I don't think dealers can do NGT parts mail order. The struts are made by Multimatic.

You will have to call concierge. $400 for each door if you have Ford service do it. That does give you a year's warranty. You can do it yourself, part is then about $110 and fairly easy to do. You have to have someone hold the door open while you swap out, and those doors are surprisingly...

If I remember correctly, Karl sold his 05 blue/white stripe to Demuro. Demuro started a new auction service and eventually Karl tried to sell his 18 NGT on it but bids were not encouraging. I think there were other problems. I don't know if it is even up and running.

Does the car have a transmission cooler? Back in the old days there was an overflow of transmission fluid and simple fix was to put a small breather tube on it. No one has talked about this for many years.
