GT Wipers with better visibility and looks

Pricing came in. Just a few bucks more than 2 years ago so not an awful increase. I have replied to all PMs received and will continue to do so. Will place parts order as soon as I reach 10 sets. I can order more parts after that but the initial order needs ten sets to get things going...

GT Wipers with better visibility and looks

As of this morning I have pricing on all but one part. Should have that later today. I am not a vendor on this site and only do these to help out fellow owners. For those that already PM'd me in the last few days, I'll send an update on pricing and approx schedule as soon as the last pricing...

GT Wipers with better visibility and looks

On another thread there was expressed some interest in these low profile wipers again. If there is enough interest to get a parts order together (about 10 sets) I'd be happy to build a few more. I'll verify pricing on the parts as its bound to have changed in 2 years.

    Ford GT Document Pouch found

If there is enough interest in the wipers, to get a parts order together from TRW I can make more sets of the wipers. Would need to do 10 sets to get the parts produced again. I also need to get current pricing as its bound to have changed. Will reach out to my contact.

    Takata airbag recall

Just a heads up. The NHTSA issued this morning a new recall campaign including MANY more Ford Rangers, Mustangs and GT. Looks like nearly all 2004 thru 2014 of these models are included now, over a million. So if yours was not included before, you might should check again. The notice also...

Looking to buy a high mileage GT

I went to look at a 2011 911 Turbo at CarMax a couple weeks ago. Was a pretty day so I drove the GT..... On a whim after the test drive the salesman asked if I was trading the GT in. I asked them to give me a price on it but they could not drive it. Thier first offer was 197k with 26k miles...

Help needed with Ford GT Hub Assy.

You know, if I actually needed a pair of hubs, I'd order the Timken hubs which ARE now in stock by the way, I called and verified. If they turned out to be the wrong part, Rock Auto will take them back at their expense and I'd be out nothing to try. $200 for a name brand replacements or $1100...

Help needed with Ford GT Hub Assy.

No, they are Timken. They are the supplier for many OEM parts. Its good to see top notch suppliers add GT parts to the catalog. And the price is very similar to the Explorer hubs which while not exactly the same are VERY similar. I suspect you will see many more parts becoming available in...

Help needed with Ford GT Hub Assy.

Just letting the forum know, RockAuto just informed me these are now available and in stock. Yes, these are for the Ford GT and Timken is the OEM supplier. $84.79 each. So if you need some new hubs or just want a couple spares, now is the time.

    Driverless

Even in the currently running beta tests, the rate of failure of the control system is FAR smaller than the average human control system. Insurance rates for driverless cars will plummet or at least the rate differential will be very wide with the advantage to the computer controlled cars...

Go pro camera in my engine compartment

I have always thought it interesting how these engines only torque front to rear rather than side to side as there is no driveshaft.

    Possible gauge protection solution

Yes, or just run the connection wire to a proper ground point instead. I just have not had the time to figure out the easiest way yet.
  20. jcthorne

    Possible gauge protection solution

Yes, the specific connection pointed out in the instructions is not a viable grounding point, nor is there one within reach of the device as built. Will need to dig in, find an appropriate ground and extend the device, soldering on a new ring terminal then try again to install. Not THAT big of...
