What have you done with your new Ford GT?

My FGT was delivered March 14th, 2019. I spent a month having Carbon fiber splash guards made and clear filmed the entire car. Since then I've attended 14 shows including the Woodward Dream Cruise. I was asked to bring it the Toledo Air Show and park next to an F35. More people were looking at my car than F35. I have 2450 miles on it with 4 more shows this year. Went to a reveal for the new cervinis Mustang hoods at the New Jersey Motor Sport track near me. Their photographer took a cool picture of the car on track.

The weekend of September 29th, I participated with J080, at the "Ford GT40 Le Mans'69 Revival", on the circuit of SPA in Belgium.

Beautifully organized by Jo Declercq, of Ford Belgium, it was a fabulous event.

The feat was to bring together 72 Ford GT40, Ford GT 2005 and Ford GT 2017+, for an exhibition, and three laps on the circuit, starting in the old style "Le Mans".

The great Jacky ICKX, at whose table I had the honor of dining, honored this event with elegance, kindness and remarkable simplicity.

This past Sunday coming back from a drive I spontaneously stopped in at our towns high school junior and peewee cheer car wash fundraiser. Car did not need a wash but I donated to their cause. Had about 100 plus surrounding the car and getting their pictures taken with the car.
Everyone was thrilled by my unexpected visit and very surprised, that our little town has such a rare and special Ford to be seen cruising around.

I know, pictures or it didn't happen,
I got asked so many questions that I forgot to take any LOL.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to make a presentation to the Texas City Rotary Club about being an Ambassador and owner of a New Ford GT. My presentation included Fords past 4 years of racing the Ford GT, my acquisition of #HO45 and answering many questions pertaining to my ownership privilege! Our Phoenix Fountain made a great backdrop for my beauty!

I went to the old Cars&Coffee event held in Irvine a month ago for a special charity reunion event. There were 4 NGTs. The event had so many great cars and it was wonderful to go back to the old venue!

After returning from Chip's party and movie preview we ate invited to another in Atlanta sponsored by Caffeine and Octane and The Driving Club at Road Atlanta. They plan to have a display of all three generations of GT's including K078 and also a selection of Ferraris. Road Atlanta was used for some of the race sense in the movie. Will post pictures after the event.
