I have that floor jack. Bought one from Pelican Parts about a decade ago when I was racing a ‘73 Porsche 911e. This jack fits under a Ford GT. It is a LONG jack and has a long handle which means you need lots of side space to use it. It raises pretty high, too and has a quick-lift feature...

I figured it out...….the small red tabs needed to be properly disengaged. To do so, I pushed one end of the red tab and when I did, the red tab moved about 1/8". This allowed me to disengage the electrical connector from the pressure switch.

I am in the process of changing my oil pressure sending switch and have a question........what is the trick to removing the electrical connector in the switch? It looks like it should pull right off, but I don’t want to break it. AND there are two red plastic tabs on each side of the connector...

very nice work! I too am a Porsche fan having owned a 1973 911E and a 1989 911 Speedster. I have often thought that one of the few cars that would bring a similar thrill as my GT would be a Carrera GT. thanks for sharing your thoughts with the board.

Mr. Martin puts out two great magazines. He seems to have a dream job.......totally immersed in car auctions, collector car values, research on historically significant automobiles, and good old fashioned driving of very cool cars.

No mods.....especially if you aren't going to drive it much.
