I met a new local owner yesterday. Great car guy and will be a real asset to the GT community!! He took me for a ride in a a beautiful Tungsten GT ( sorry I think this is the coolest color too..:biggrin ) He had a pulley a tune and the Borla muffler. All I can say is sign me up!!! Made my stocker feel like a Mustang !! I think he had a 2.7?" pulley, not the smallest pulley but the end result was impressive !! Thanks again freeflyer. I guess I'll have to get out the check book !!!

Make sure yur "bolts" are in good shape first!:lol
 
Totally worth it. I'm increasingly convinced they chose the stock boost level simply on the "let's not end up with a bunch of dead guys" basis. You can still smog a pulley/tune/exhaust/header GT and pass...not so with many other cars...

DBK, I totally agree, Cut your teeth on the stock set up than graduate to a pulley other wise most of the new ones would have been wrapped around trees !! I can remember the story of the dealers sales manager wrecking one on a little test drive...

Header - Won't pass in CA.... especially without cats.

Saw and heard the GTX Guys headers with cats, they claim they just had the Malibu owners car pass Cal smog test,,,.... sound very sweet. Check out Yogi's pics from Scottsdale and there is a link to their price list.

Yeah, I know where that is. I have flown in there in a Stearman. Are you a pilot too?
