Hey Gordon, I am trying to get something going with the help of GT Joey's contact. Looks like Mike in S.Fran. Bay Area, me in Fresno, you in Vegas and Chip in Scottsdale. If we could pick up two or three more we have a truck.

Awsum, you said you wouldn't be available. If you just want to send your car with Bony, I have a tall friend that can make use of the extra headspace and drive it around the track for you and get pictures. I can even use some undertaker makeup and make him look like you!

Thanks Joey, your pal called me, his dispatcher dropped the ball, I gave him an overview of what we have so far. Hopefully we can put this thing together.
Bony, I heard from Hog Haulers and they will pick up a total of five cars, starting with mine in Portland, yours in Fresno, and one each in the Bay area, Scottsdale and Las Vegas for $3000 each, round trip. They will deliver the cars on May 23 and will keep the truck in Indy, so the cars can be loaded for the return trip as soon as we want, which would probably be Monday. That's the offer. Let me know what you find out for the transportation you are pursuing. Thanks, Bill

Good work, ok, yesterday I spoke to the owner of the transport company that GT Joey recommended. Today I found a voice mail from their dispatcher, returned his call and got into his voicemail. I suggest we get one more bid, and decide. I am ready to accept the offer for $3k. Jerry and I paid $2500 last year per car to go to Wixsom. Consider that we have cars scattered over kingdom come, this seems fair. I hope the other owners chime in.
I ass-ume the haulers will all want a deposit from us. Thanks again.

Joey's hauler's dispatcher has never returned my calls, does not bode well to build confidence. The owner said he would straighten him out for not following up with us, obviously this didn't work out very well. I seldom ask an employee to do anything twice, I find that if they make it through the first ninety days working for us, they make it through to retirement. Enough carping.
I sent Chip and Gordo and email asking if they are in at $3k. I am in. Lets go to Indy.:banana
