I would like to buy a set of 4 new or slightly used tires (street tires - not slicks). Please send a PM or email if you have any to sell.

I also need several gauges, but I'm following the gauge thread, and if the new ones are available soon can just wait and purchase them then.

I have a set of good years that came off my car 1600 miles on them

MJ do you have a FGT now?

Piccola, I drove thru Grand Junction last weekend. Gorgeous roads!

MNJason, were you in the GT at the time?

You should have said hi Jason! What brought you through GJ? I just went on a beautiful drive over several mountain passes into Telluride and then over the Grand Mesa. With the golden aspens, white capped mountains, and curvy roads, it felt like heaven. The GTs would have loved it!!!

Do you know how old the tires are? What year you bought them?

I also have a set of GYs with less than 2K on them, original OEMs on the car......

I was not unfortunately. A nice Chevy rental though! :)

I drove from my uncle's place in Crested Butte to SLC that day. Took the long route which was Kebler Pass then north on 133 (amazing road) to Glenwood Springs then 70 West. Great drive. Amazing views. Colors were excellent.

Next time I will stop and say hello!

Rubber compound in tires deteriorates over time, so if I purchase used tires, I would like them to have < 1500 miles and be newer than 3-4 yrs old. I know that narrows the field, but I'd rather pay for new ones if necessary and not have to worry about potential safety issues. (It's going to be a surprise b-day present for a friend who drives like I do. :biggrin)

Guess that means in an escort, which would look funny with GT sized tires on it.

Piccola:

I have a good used: Voltage Gauge for $507+S/H, Fuel Level Gauge for $407+S/H, and Boost/Vaccum Gauge for $376+S/H, if you need them!!!

Escort? It's for my favorite midnight blue GT. Aside from putting new tires on, I get to change the oil and detail it. I don't get many opportunities to work on GTs, so I'm super excited! :)

You can always come back east and detail the GT anytime you'd like!!!!

I am going to visit my sister in Massachusetts soon. (You know I would take you up on it, but I think you're still a couple hundred miles away...) BTW, I still remember that restaurant with the fire crackers that you and your wife took me to last time I was out there! :)

What gauges are you looking for?

boost and speedo

Just sent you a PM.
