A big hello to all from France.
(Sorry for the poverty of machine translation).

I finally just got the Ford GT that I imported from Germany.
It is a 2006 white blue stripes, only 2600 miles.
She joins a Jaguar XK Convertible and a Superformance Cobra 409 above, 481 HP.

GT, as the Cobra is primarily intended for my aesthetic pleasure and some peaceful tourist walks in the beautiful French countryside.
I consider the Works of Art that I enjoy watching, stroking and surround the greatest care.
I know my profile is unusual, but with age it is quiet.

So I am very happy to join your community which I read an excellent forum for a long time and with great interest.
Very isolated in France, I will certainly have a lot of advice to ask.

Friendly.

Welcome - I will be in France at Le Mans with my GT in 3 weeks - are you anywhere near Le Mans?

Welcome aboard and congratulation the GT. She looks awesome. When I do something my girlfriend doesn't like she says stuff to me in French, I'm sure she's not telling me how great I am, maybe you could help me figure it out. Stay in touch.

Welcome.....with all due respect, this is the first time as a fellow Cobra owner that I have seen "Cobra" and "peaceful" used in the same sentence! ;-)

weclome and thanks for sharing the pic of your toys. I love the color combo on the Cobra. Also, is that a CA license plate on your garage?

Hey you're not the only european on this!
I heard its such a pain in the bum to register these cars in france.

Bienvenue Saint Ho. Y a-t-il des autres propriétaires GT en France ? Pouvez-vous venir au rallye en septembre en Californie ?

Ed

@ Dear FORD GT FORUM : Thank you very much for your warm and pleasant words. I appreciate.

@ MAL :

Sorry, at this date, I will not be near the MANS. Surely the "MANS CLASSIC" the first week of July 2014.

@ COBRAGUY :

Indeed, the words "Cobra" and "peaceful" do not naturally go together.
When she arrived in the USA, I gave the name of "Tina Turner" in my Cobra, so it is unpredictable, energetic, rhythmic, but totally mesmerizing.
Since then, I taught him to make love slowly and smoothly. She appreciates and now consumes more beauty cream that of gasoline.

@ MJSFRX :

Yes, I imported my Cobra California, and the owner gave me the plate.

@ BELGIAN GT

Some seek to register a GT in France by "twisted" risky and dangerous ways.
There is a specialist who knows how to do legally. His work is complicated, time consuming, expensive, but the result is perfect.
I tried to buy the gray GT black bands for sale near Brussels. The merchant had an attitude that led me to give up.

@ ED SIMS :

Yes, there are five other GT in France. I'll try to get in touch with their owners. The thing will probably be long and difficult, because unlike the Anglo-Saxons, the French hide what they have.
To meet California .... Let's say it is a bit far!

Yours sincerely.

Saint Ho.

Welcome to the forum! I just returned from France . I
Visit often since my wife is from Strasbourg. I revisited national auto museum in molsheim. Incredible and probably one of best collection in the world( must be over 100 bugattis!) definite destination for every one ( though only American vehicle was vintage Harley ) . France is now full of radar traps not much fun anymore! Hope you can get over to Germany and can stretch the GT's legs on the autobahn! I always fancied the idea of tailgating Porsches and Mercedes at over 200 kph !
