2nd drive in the GT this year!

Took her out on this gorgeous day today...gave her a good few hours with a lot of good boots! It's just amazing how the iphones come out while driving - and the camera's start snapping and filming! I must have been in a few videos for a good 10 minutes today - by guys running beside or behind the GT, whipping out the smartphones and filming away - LOL

All that said, had a great run...blasted through a 1/2 tank of gas in a 100 miles and got the tires nice and warm today -

It's always a fine day when I can get the GT out! The other toys have all been out already, but the GT only gets out once a most of the sand has disappeared.

She never feels slow and I never get used to the power...what a blast!! I've been sitting patiently since Oct to get her on the road...and now those days are finally here!

Good for you. We still have lots of sand/salt on the roads here. Will be close to may 24 weekend before the cars come out. I'm jealous. Lol

I too had the gt out today for the first time this spring... Cool temps but 99% of the sand is gone already which is very unusual. I usually wait till its 100% cleaned up but ..hey....The sun was shining and the car was polished so I couldn't sit still, ( I live in "Canada's sunny city"!).....I was "down east" in QC in March .....almost froze to death with your humid north wind and overcast skies!!! ;-)

Just got 6-8 inches of heavy snow last night in Wyoming, so will have to wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, on the bright side, it'a melting FAST

We had 22" or so last week and the sand and gravel on the roads is horrible again. Snowing again today as the plane left dia for Portland

It'll be another month before it will be comfortable taking the car out for a twisty mountain drive

I'm back in Colorado after being gone for almost a month and had planned on trailering the car down off the mountain to paint. I was less than happy to find 2 feet of snow covering a mile of my driveway. I plowed everything off yesterday and now its snowing again with 18" predicted. That damn global warming is starting to piss me off!

Dude, I'm in Montreal and I assure you we have much more sand and salt...just get on the 401 or 407 and drive her already!!! There is no sand or salt on those roads now...
