From the factory, your vehicle's computer is calibrated for the masses, designed with the average driver in mind, not the performance driver. This not only leaves valuable Horsepower & Torque hidden inside your vehicle, but it also makes for a mediocre driving experience. The iTSX System unlocks your vehicle's hidden performance potential by wirelessly re-calibrating your vehicle's computer for Maximum Horsepower & Torque, Increased Throttle Response, Firmer Shifts and even Increased Fuel Mileage.

The iTSX App lets you control the vehicle-tuning and monitoring capabilities of the iTSX Wireless OBD-II Interface. The first & only "Android, iPod – iPhone – iPad” vehicle tuner & OBD-II monitoring product on the market. The iTSX Wireless OBD-II Interface plugs into your vehicle’s OBD-II diagnostic connector, and communicates with your Android or Apple device via a secure Bluetooth wireless connection.

Available for Android, iPod Touch, iPhone & iPad devices.

Torrie...are you doing any tuning at the Rally or is that strictly a fun trip for you?

If anyone requires tuning I will be more then happy to handle anything you or anyone else needs. I carry everything with me everywhere I go. So yes !

Has anybody used this version of the SCT programmer yet? Comments?

Torrie is gonna help me with some details, and I need to buy one. This one seems cool, but would love to hear from someone who may have some hands-on experience.........

I see my word isn't enough:lol:lol

HaHa.....your word is good, but you are a man of few words my friend! OK, I take that back, many emails, but hard to get the full story fast. I promise I'll get one from you, just figuring which one.....and this is the fastest way to get to my "comfort level"....lol

Yeah that sums me up to a T. This group will reinforce that.

Torrie's got my vote.

He's got mine too, but he has 3 programmers....trying to decide which one to get?

It comes down to personal use. As I pointed out already from a calibration perspective its all the same. All program the vehicle offer full datalogging and can read erase DTC's on any 1996-current FLM vehicle.

X3 = Wired handheld device. Most have this and use it for programming once and put the device away.
iTSX = Wireless Bluetooth dongle. It can stay mounted on the port and you can use your IOS or android device to program or datalog the vehicle.
Livewire TS = Wired touch screen device that you can permanently windshield mount.

The Liverwire TS and iTSX also offer HP/TQ test functions and 0-60 1/4 mile testing. The TS is the newest device of the group and what I am using currently in my GT.

I like the iTSX, but am slightly worried about wireless Bluetooth issues.....should fine at the short range of a few feet, but then again maybe RFI.....have you used this one?

If there were issues with it, it would not be for sale. Yes I have used it on a couple of my vehicles, as have a bunch of my customers.

OK, well we'll have to agree to disagree on that one! And especially on new hi-tech electronic and wireless stuff. I'm a tech guy, but I certainly know since the release the first personal computer these sorts of things have been released with "bugs", lots of "bugs". But your personal experience, and that of your other customers, is good by me. I'll try to get that order in today, and then email the other bits and pieces I need. Thanks.

That iTSX debuted at 2011 SEMA and received the best new product award. It’s been on the market for 12 months now.

If you want to remove wireless from the equation and go with a device that has had the longest field test track record of the three "2007" go with the X3

Dose the lastest X3 still cause the gauges to go wacko when running livelink and does the new iTSX have that problem?

I haven't tested the latest firmware release for that specific function.

Torrie.....has any GT forum members bought the iTSX?

Yes.

I bought the iTSX. Overall it's a good product, but I have had a couple of issues. The first one was compatibility -- it doesn't connect with the Samsung Galaxy S-III...yet. The version of software that's available for Android is version 1.0.0 (which pre-dated the S-III), so I'd expect the next version to connect with this device. I've been told that SCT is aware of this issue.
So I got a Nexus 7 to get around this issue -- problem solved, right? Almost... I'm not sure about the X3 "LiveLink" function that BlackIce references above, but I'm guessing it's similar to the "Gauges" function on the iTSX. It causes "wacko" problems with the FGT gauges. The odometer blanks out, then comes back. The tach dies, then springs back to life...and the boost gauge...etc. For someone that hasn't had gauge problems to date, the Pucker Factor was nearly lethal.
As Torrie indicated, it's all the same from a calibaration perspective. For me, the Gauges function is "nice to have" functionality. The gauges seem to work perfectly on the Android device, but it's disturbing to watch your dashboard while it's running.

The bug with the S3 is in testing. I own that phone and have been assisting engineering with that.

Trailing SCP data causes the gauge bounce, outside of it appearing odd there is no negative effect from it.
