Ralphie Made Me Do It

Garage is off a terrace parking level 100 feet from the top of the hill. Probably isn't in the cards to level it. Way too much involved. Be easier to make it a bat cave trap door with underground parking.

...your Mrs. picked out that house with an eye toward the future...didn't she.

That's then a $5,000 per mile payback............

...aaaaaaaah, but 'tis NOT through "paying back" yet if current plans are realized...yeeeew mizzerbull... :tongue

That pic must be misleading because the slope on my driveway is WAY steeper than yours and my car is WAY lower than yours and I have never scraped. Not once.

...that's because you always use your neighbor's driveway! Fess up!

How do you accomplish that??? Is your driveway extra w-i-d-e so that you can enter/exit at a 45* angle (or better) when coming & going? Eric's appears to be too narrow to make that move.

Mine is 2 car widths wide and I exit (and enter) on a 45 degree angle. Always from the driveway down the street as it angles as well.

I was really surprised when I shipped it home because all my former lowered vehicles scraped and my GT does not!

Eric:

Can you have your driveway widened at the foot only so as to allow a 45* approach/exit, or would that screw up something else in that part of the yard (or just plain look stupid)?

didn't think of it that way, you are right.

I'm here - Had company over the weekend, family and friends. Snowed Saturday and Sunday - about 2-4 inches of winter snow. Sunny and cold today (~ 25° F), and my son and grandsons are out skiing this morning.

Leaving Thursday morning early for Infineon for the Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival....
