Here is the Sears replacement battery

I wanted to get a Sears but could not figure out which model to get so this is helpful. I went with the Odyssey 25PC1400 which has 820 CCA at a cost of $239 at battery mart (as I mentioned in another thread) I also have an Odyssey 1230 in my 06--both fit well and are so called "military grade" and said to last a long time. Sears would be a good choice since there are so many stores and purchase and return , if needed would be easy.

Might be good to have something in the tech section listing battery replacement options.

So of course in Canada we don't get the sears Platinum series. Does anyone know if a Sears "GOLD" would be the same battery? If it's not the same, and if you get both gold and platinum in the USA, can anyone get me a cross reference number for the 'gold' version?

I agree wholeheartedly with GT drummer's last comment, it would be nice to have something in the tech section listing battery replacement options. Anyway, absent a fit from the Sears store, I might just be calling up Batterymart....

The Sears gold battery is a WET CELL type battery and the Sears platinum battery is a DRY CELL type battery!!!
