Have to say I'm impressed with all the cool gadgets and gizmos the house has. The garage is pretty cool and will be REALLY cool once he puts the AC system in (hint hint).

So I was looking around and got a good chuckle over his apparent OCD.

I'll just leave these pics right here........

Ohh yeah...sorry, but thats demented

It has been a long "dream" project for Soroush; I could not be happier for him

Congrats on getting into the new house. Something tells me that the silverware may not be used all that often.

If the silverware is faced down it would wobble less as you open the drawer and the spaces in between will stay even. There are many of these tidbits I explained to my wife when we first met... My favorite show is Monk....

Congrats on the new house.

Arranging eating utensils is the first sign of madness.

Maybe utensils are to Soroush as cars are to EP. :lol

thanks
, the drawers are lined with anti-slip liners, I can shut the door pretty hard and everything stays put, and most importantly the spaces stay even :biggrin

I didnt think it was a secret, I thought everyone knew I was mad!:lol ps what is this a sign of?(see pic below)

Soroush,
My wife asked if you could come over and straighten up my (Air Conditioned) garage.:rofl
This looks a lot better than the small garage you had at the town home. Just finished installing electric power steering in my Testarossa. I will probably getting a call from Dr.V8
once his arms quit aching. :thumbsup It's amazing how things get filled in the garage mahal.

John

PS. I assume the lift has the pans between the runners? If not email me I'll give you some.

Very nice!

um, one of your Box end wrenches wasn't exactly parallel to all the others. I think you better go arrange them all again. :biggrin

My favorite T-shirt says "I have OCD ... What's Your Excuse?"

My license plate screws (or any other "set" of screws) must have the heads all turned the same direction.

I have to brush/comb my hair in sets of four "combs" each going across.

No numbers (phone, license plates, account numbers) can have 3 sixes in a row.

Spelling HAS to be meticulously correct. (never, ever used spell check)

Very difficult for me to "tolerate" other people's mistakes in grammar, spelling etc.

Cannot touch anything in a public bathroom. I try very hard to let other people open doors, etc.

Must check all locks several times upon leaving.

Lots, lots more.

+1 on most of those.

I think that fits a lot of us here.

How many of you don't let shoes in the house? I cannot believe how angry people get when you offer them a set of clean socks so they can leave their shoes outside with ours. :bored

This is precisely why I went with Travertine in the house.. Carpet only in the bedrooms and the Theater.

When friends leave the house, we usually mop with a clorox/pinesol solution..

:thumbsupThat is not OCD it is just well organized and well prepared.:cool:bow

Very nice Soroush! My wife only wishes I was so organized and neat.

did the same downstair, all travertine, but everything upstair is hardwood stained very dark, I regret it now, if you even think of going upstairs it leave marks on the floor. so naturally nobody is allowed upstairs with shoes , I dont mind shoes downstairs..... no carpet in the house anywhere but plan to put area rugs down in most common areas. the theater is wood floors too, everyone tried to talk me out of it, Im glad I did not sway. my ocd does not allow me to have carpet in the house, I keep thinking the dirt hides in there somewhere and its impossible to clean it properly!:willy
