I came across this recently and was curious if anyone here has one.
It is from '09 and may have been posted before and I may have just missed it.
I just thought it was a nice looking time piece.

I went on a Monaco binge a couple of years ago. I have the blue "Steve McQueen" version, a white dial Gulf watch and also the above black dial edition.
 
Wore it today. Love it.

I also have one. Solid. I mostly wear it when I drive my GT. Cool watch though. Real nice piece.

I just bought mine in Decemebr. VERY COOL watch, Great make, Wear almost every day. Best part is have a car to match the colours. Most people comment on it. The square face and stripes makes it stand out.:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup
 
One more thing. Tag says it is a limited edition. I do not agree. The production run is 2500 pieces. I do not consider this to be a limited production. Production runs of 100 or less are true limited productions. I do not know what the industry says is the minimum for a limited producton. I am only talking from a consumer point of view
This does not take away from the cool factor at all so if you like it buy it.
 
Somebody posted a pic of a Black bodied version that was listed as a prototype at one time.

Anybody know if TAG produced that version?

w/ original HEUER Shield, no 'TAG'

with crown on left, like the cal-Buren original.

And NO they have NOT brought that forward from baselworld. Yet. Fingers still crossed, but I'm not really hopeful.

Looks fantastic in black. I'm surprised this has not been produced.

I love that watch but never managed to find one when I was actively looking to buy one. Very cool.
 
Looks great, I just use my oPhone for the time, works fine.
