Guy Cosmo is hosting this track event next Thurs. at the new Palm Beach Intl Race Way. There should be some nice high end cars there . I plan to go run the GT a few laps and test out the new brakes !! :biggrin

Stillen Brakes in Florida!

Let us know your opinion Stormcat. I know they are stronger than stock (& those are fantastic brakes).

I agree on both counts the stock GT brakes are very good no doubt..so far from what I feel the AP racing brakes are stronger. Last week I drove my other GT with stock brakes. I drove them back to back for comparison. I hope to get some photos but it is a night event so who knows how they'll come out ??
 
I had a great time. There was a good turn out of Vehicles. The AP Racing brakes are very strong for sure !!

It was great to see this Ford Fairlane run around the track !! It was a very impressive sight and sound! After watching run some hard laps I had to go get a closer look. I was shocked to see this car had about 12" dia front disk brakes and rear drums !! Wow and they were putting this car through the paces !!

Thats cool that it was Guy Cosmo event as he is a really great guy and a great driver. I had the opportunity to have him pour/mold my seat in my Formula Continental at the SCCA run-offs at Mid Ohio one year. Even though he was doing my seat he freely gave me tips on going fast at Mid Ohio.

It was, Guy is a great driver and a very friendly person to all .:thumbsup
 
Noticed there was an orange Rossion in attendance...! Mine is about 3 weeks away..:biggrin

Looked like fun Stormcat. How was the track itself?

Havent had the chance to run the new palm beach racetrack, but we are lucky to have sebring and homestead here in florida. Havent tracked the GT however, always been in other vehicles. The GT would be strong at sebring for sure.

The New PBIR is a real nice track:thumbsup I have been on the new track two times this year. I never had the chance to run on the old track so I could not give you a comparison.
