A friend of mine had these louvers machined from billet for his GT, I though I would share the pics as they look pretty nice and i'm told they fit nice too.

Louvers

Those look pretty snazzy. Can they be clear anodized? I'd go for a pair if not a million $.

These were done my AZGT I believe - aka Larry

I seem to recall that initiative involved sand casting vs. machined billet.

I dont believe these are the same.

I hope somebody goes after the black vertical ones on the side of the flat ones shown.

These are the ones that warp on my car!

On third set and NO WARRANTY LEFT!

Same here, Mike.

On second set, starting to look ratty.

No more warranty!

The cost of logging many miles.

I do have one machinist attempting to machine one set. I'll let you know if he finishes.

Mill the shape out of a bar and wire edm the fins. The wire EDM is pretty fast and needs no finishing after its done.

would be nice if anodized or powdercoated

AZGT's were sand-casted as I remember. He presented them at the Scottsdale dinner the night before we left on the caravan for Vegas. They were very nice, but had a few rough edges to be smoothed. These look really trick, but I'd sure like to hear the cost. Metalman, special discount for Illinois residents?

Illinois - Smellinois

...........and Franky Your MOTHER had more rough edges! :rofl ppttttttt:thumbsup

Quit picking on my friend Larry!

In the picture they look stunning

As a machined piece I would expect that both anodizing and powder coating would remain a viable options however anodizing would likely bleach out rather quickly with sun exposure and then develope a blue or red hue.

Takes care

CF wrap?

Those have possibilities :biggrin. I might be interested in a pair with a non-stock modified vent pattern.

They look great. Please post a price.

Interested!

Wow, what a response. These were not made by a forum member, but by a friend of mine who just needed a set to replace his own. I don't think he intended on selling them. But if you're interested let's get a count and I'll can find out how much and how soon. There is nothing in it for me and I'll follow forum protocol for selling stuff, whatever that might be.

Shelby is right, these are not sand cast, but machined from billet.
