Wish I was at SEMA to see the faces on the guys at TuRD. They must be nervous ~ they just got their grass cut in a big way!

Hey Farley, how 'bout some MARKETING! I look forward to seeing it on the local showroom floor. It will sell and hopefully provide some 'trickledown' interest to the F150.

I think this will be an unequivocal hit. The challenge will be communicating exactly how good it is and how different it is because there is no frame of reference for most people. I had no idea what I was getting into.

I think even if you don't intend to go flying through the air with it, it's still a bad ass looking truck that does everything an F-150 does, but better (except towing). It's certainly gonna have the most plush ride over crappy roads of anything out there.
 
Marketing wise the southwestern US and so-cal duner/dirt car folks will get it.
It will be a big hit in those circles. Shoot some video in the desert and dunes of the beast. Big air, big dunes, big whoops and big power slides!
 
I think DBK is now REALLY addicted! I hope some of the interior stuff trickles down to the F150.

Was great to see it at SEMA, most impressive.
Nice vids Dave, I also watched several other ones done my Motor Trend and an off road truck mag, seems like the press likes it.

I managed to get 'trapped' in front of that guy at LVMS at Rally 3 in my lowly Mustang. I saw him coming from half way around the track. Looked like NASCAR with the front end of (someone else's..) yellow GT stuck underneath my rear bumper. Gene can drive...!!! :cheers

Hope he can get the Raptor some TV time! :thumbsup
 
I think they are showing the actual race on December 14th on NBC. Don't ask me...

Desert racing has always been a big hobby of mine. A few years ago I built a long travel truck out of a Nissan Titan. It had 16 inches of travel (only 5 more than the Raptor) and took me a full year to build. I would trade it anytime for one of these Raptor's. These are an incredible truck.
