In honor of what will undeniably occur in November, I did some shopping tonight.

Got me a Nighthawk Custom Predator II. It is absolutely fantastic! I have never shot anything close to this accurate. Bull barrell, Heinie rear sight. I ran through a magazine of the Glock 23 I carry just to compare and it was mind blowing. I emptied every round at 20 feet with the .40, and on the last round moved the target to the end of the range and put it right through the eyes with the .45 ACP. Just fantastic. My compliments to the man who built this bad boy by hand.

I also got a new Benelli M4. It's a beautiful piece of equipment. I did not get a chance to shoot it but I figure if it's a good enough tool for the USMC, it's plenty good for me. :usa

(And it's all legal in Michigan Grandpa Bony)

Thank gawd I live in Fresno where my PD does a fine job protecting me, besides I have neighbors that carry that will come running if called :)

Now that we have your November forecast, should we short the market tomorrow?
Yesterday Krammer, tomorrow DBK!! :)

The beauty of this particular purchase is that no matter what happens in November, I win! :banana

Least your hanging in there, the man who is getting my vote left your state with his tail between his leg,... and in fact most folks working on the line at Ford and the General will not be voting for Mr. Obama.... I am so unhappy with him,... reminds me of the second presidential election I voted in, 1972.....

I need a MAKERS MARK! :(

Yes, this has been the most poorly run campaign I've witnessed in my relatively short lifetime. This election should be a slam dunk, but it's all but lost at this point. Sad.

So I's gonna go cling me some guns! Yeeeeeeehaw! :biggrin

I have the feeling there will be a run on the market....
Of course in Kal-fool-nia our legislators have protected us and outlawed many of the toys that you hold dear....

Was thinking about this baby,... but then I realized that it is illegal in the land of fruits and nuts...
.. the Saiga 12

Watch what will happen to the price of every assault weapon on the market. Have you even looked at the prices of fully automatic weapons these days? Unreal! Only a matter of time before the ARs and AKs get put on the hitlist.

They have been on the list in CA for a very long time. Obama is of the same, or worst, mindset on guns as Feinstein, Boxer and Pelosi. With a demo controlled house and senate, nothing will stop them from passing the complete wish list of the Brady organization.

just my 2 cents

What the politicos in Kalifornia fail to realize is that guns don't kill it is the idiot shooting them. They are no more danger than fast planes or fast cars. The key is control. You don't want to be in front of any of them you want to be the one with the control. I really don't want to live in a country where I have to go to a hunt club to visit my guns. :usa DBK enjoy the new toys and be responsible. Ps(Ted Nuggent has a good cook book on cooking what bag.):cheers

Congrats on the new addition to the firearm family. :cheers If I may lead you down a road for the survival of your shoulder. http://www.tacticalshotgunner.com/low-tube-recoil-stock-kit-p-119.html If you contact Mesa Tactical directly they have a unit for your M4. Trust me after you spent a few hours on the range without one you can't feel your hand due to compression. With one you can shoot all week long. I just switched to the FN Tactical Police shotgun .. ported, balanced, compensated and recoil reduced. All in all both are great for their intended job. :thumbsup:thumbsup on your choices.

If you want to add something more in the other M4 line ... I might recommend. http://www.sabredefence.com/commercial.php Specifically the 6.5mm Grendel. Awesome round .. have a couple of Sabre Defence rifles ... hands down best built AR rifle I have ever placed my hands on. Les Baer is making a grendel rifle also .. but for the cost difference I could not tell a measurable difference in quality or capability. A good caliber that does the job of the 7.62 (M-14) and has much more punch than a .223 ever could dream of. I have shot mine over 900m with no issues.

And if you really want to go over the top ... try Barrett Model 99 in .416 Barrett. :wink

If you would like to partake at any time ring me up and I can arrange a day full of cordite. Take the girls for a run ... then go shoot ... sounds like a perfect day!!!! Once again congrats on the additions ... and expressing your 2nd Ammendment rights. :usa

BTW .... THANKS FOR THE GUN THREAD.... things have been a bit thin on that subject here lately. :lol:lol

Dave - I need to go on a 'spree' too...Where did you buy?

My wife Margaret wants to purchase a Nighthawk Lady Hawk for herself. Supposedly a nice, smaller frame (especially vs my M&P S&W .40)

Congrats on the Benelli M4. Always wanted to get one of those. I think you will really like it.

I know the guys that own Target Sports on Woodward through a mutual friend. They don't have world beating prices, but they usually give me somewhat of a deal because I use the range alot and have bought quite a few weapons from them. If nothing else, they do have virtually everything to rent there, including some Nighthawks, so it's a decent place to look around or test stuff.

Good stuff with the wife! I think the odds of my mom having a .45 are about as likely as the odds of her becoming an astronaut. :lol

Thanks Randy. I'm sure I will.

I'm not so sure. I can hope your right.

Some group came on the radio a few weeks ago stating that Dearborn's John Dingle (d) who is supposed have the strongest manufacturing lobby was measured to be the most anti-manufacturing vote history in Congress. Go figure.

Dsve. come on to TEXAS and be a carrier like most of us. Don't mess with TEXANS. We welcome you. Tomy

Thanks Dave - I have driven by Target Sports on Woodward 100 times...Now I have a reason to stop in. I have been looking for a closer range to practice at also. Is there someone I should as for...?
