Gentlemen,

As a 52-year-old Arizona native I have had three occasions to meet and talk with John McCain. McCain-Feingold and the gang of 14 judicial fiasco had soured me on Senator McCain to the point that I no longer supported him. I did not vote for him for Senator during his last reelection and I had not sent any money to him for his presidential run. His speeches of late however, have pushed all the right buttons for me. And this selection as his vice presidential running mate is, I believe, a master stroke. Lifetime member of the NRA, chief executive experience, pro-life, sports woman, AND... SHE'S TOTALLY HOT!!!! Not only that, she's an outstanding public speaker who exudes self-confidence. The plagiarist Senator Biden slurred many of the words in his speech the other night and misspoke on at least two points. I believe that in any debate Sarah will hand Senator Biden his head on a platter. After her address this morning I went straight back to my computer and made a campaign contribution to Senator McCain. I obviously would've voted for him anyway to keep Obama out of the White House, but now I am a full fledged and contributing supporter. Go get 'em John. :thumbsup :cheers

I really do think that the "experience" issue has been masterfully played here. You've got Democrats running around like crazy saying it's a horrible judgment call and recklessly irresponsible to put someone with no experience in the White House as a Vice President.

On behalf of Barack Obama and his cumulative 147 days in office in a non-executive role - thanks for saying it guys! All you have to do is look at his voting, er, not voting, record.

I am very happy about the choice.

When Obahma or Biden smiles you can tell they are career politicians. My mamma taught me to spot people like them and my father taught me to not do business with people like them.

She is a true blue American. Not a (see picture below).

The right man or woman, regardless of race, religion, etc is the right person for the job.

What a change a day can make...!! I listened to her this morning and said to myself ....... "This is the type of woman that many of us hope our daughters will someday become." We have done what we can to bring them up properly and continue to do so, but she has really 'set the bar' for a 'role model' in my mind.

My contributions will now increase (even though MITT was our original choice)

Margaret and I are trying to find a big ''MCCAIN/PALIN'' car hauler sticker to put on our trailer for the trip from Detroit to LasVegas.
Let's hope we are all correct and they defeat Obama/Biden in a landslide.

Just sent in some cash. I heard they raised $4 million bucks after the announcement yesterday. Impressive.
 
This is fantastic. This woman's story is heroic. She is the least "wealthy" of any of the candidates, has more true executive experience than either Obama or Hiliary (and cannot claim that she road anyone's coat-tails), a mother of 5 children including one with Down's syndrome, fights the establishment and corruption. She will bring domestic issues to the forefront, including energy policy. Joe Biden? What I mainly remember about Joe Biden was his claim to have graduated in the top half of his class...really it was 76 out of 85. He has a history of making such false claims....great choice Obama...looking forward to the fireworks!

The "big one" was pbly the one back in '88 or so when he plagiarized a speech given by BLP leader Kinnock(sp?).

You haven't reached the legal maximum yet? Is there a cutoff date because of McCain is accepting Fed funds.
 
Great speech indeed. My 12 year old Matthew has been so intrigued with this election and I could not be happier - he's getting an early education.

I'll bet tomorrow the DONKEYS will hammer her on the fact that she did not write her own speech.
