Just curious...we don't have a lot of GT's here in Iowa to refer to but I've never seen a car with the standard radio and glovebox. Does anyone have any pictures to post or links I can visit to see the interior differences? I see 119 on the registry are listed as the standard system. :cheers

As requested, the standard radio and unmolested view of the engine.

You also can go the way of "Mac Delete" with the best of both worlds.

Standard radio has a 4 speaker system while the Mac option came with the two additional door tweeters up front and top in the doors.

Shadowman and ACRJOE worked one winter to come up with the Mac Delete system with a box for the Mac speaker relocated behind the Pass seat and the Amp to be relocated behind the drivers seat and then the use of a standard "glovebox" console as you call it... Contact Shadowman for details.:thumbsup

I've only been able to find two speakers with my "standard" system. Unless you were counting the twin speakers that sit just below the license plate.

2,4 or 5.... to your point Waldo - crank the RPM's up! :cheers

That's why I never minded the "marginal at best" sound of the standard system. I was always more interested in seeing and hearing the engine. :cheers

That being said, one of these days I'll need to swap out the Borla for something louder. Then I'll never even have to turn the stereo on.:thumbsup

Waldo, Stormcat (aka LazyCat) also makes a VERY trick carbon fiber replacement for the standard/non Mac piece. You might look a his pictures.

I've seen pictures of his carbon fiber work. Very nice, but I need the short shifter and a smaller pulley first:usa... and the wife said something about landscaping for the back yard.:bored

I may have a deal for you ... PM me..

If that deal includes bottleholders, and I find out, Hurricane Fay (which I'm sure will be your next lame excuse) will be the least of your worries.
