Was it because with someone named Ford presently at the top of the food chain he saw it unlikely he would ever be able to work his way to CEO? So far of those who promoted the Ford GT from within, all I know about those who've left The Mother Ship are Coletti and Martens and the chief engineer of the Ford GT, who went to McLaren.
