I was talking to some guys in Indy and thought Id post it. It is a couple of miles from home here in College Station. Used to run NASCAR and Indy races there, now its just club events and such.

Just thought Id let you know for 2 reasons..

1.) If anyone is interested...

2.) If you guys want to do a club track event, I can probably set something up cause I know people that manage the track.

Following the unexpected death of owner Richard Conole last month, Texas World Speedway has been listed for sale.

The Viper guys love the track, especially the fast turn off the back straight. Big oval not in such great shape.

ya, im pretty sure the full oval is not suitable. ive heard the foundation under it int great. it may be good for renovation, but others have said that it would cost less and be better to tear the oval up and rebuild it.

but the road coarse and the front strech that is part of it are in good condition and are run on regularly.
