Road Trip to Norwalk Ohio - Sat August 25th

Thanks to Andy for organizing this great drive and event! We all had a nice time and it is always great to see fellow Forum members and guests. Seeing a drag race for the first time was cool! And thank you to Steve Wolcott for hooking us up at Summit Motorsports Park!

Brian... Darroll Myers (Willison ND) It is a J-serial number, full production ,special pallet paint. Beautiful !
He was there with several of his Mustang CobraJets .
He has a beautiful garage full of Fords... Drags cars, CobraJets GT etc -- MANY are painted Orange / Blue Gulf (including his garage walls.)
He is quite a 'character' and we spent time with he and his wife 'talking' Ford and GT.
Steve Wolcott had advised him we were all coming so he brought along the NFGT.!!
A very FUN day.

Maybe Next year too. I spoke to Steve Wolcott and the Norwalk event will most likely take place the week after Woodward Dream Cruise each year.
I will investigate and keep every one posted..

50th Cobra Jet reunion.
What a week we have celebrating the birthday of my 68 first fifty factory light weight Cobra Jet Mustang. Original paint car and was one of 12 that made it there this week. Five of them were raced this weekend. I had the honor of lining up against a Ford Icon, Richey Pauley that has owned and raced his car since 1969. My best time was 11.05 @ 124 MPH and was the best time this old Gal has ever been. MPH sows it should be a Mid 10 second run. What a beautiful track and event. Sorry to have missed some of you as I was busy in the pits running two Cobra Jet cars.
