There is a claim being made that this GT40 may be one of the most significant GT40s, though I would beg to differ. I'm sure it's puffery, but we're talking BIG $$$$$'s here.

IMO the original GT40 doesn't benefit aesthetically from the top being removed.

Yes...funny that lots of money is the pre-auction estimate. I'm sure it's true. But, as much as I lusted for GT40s in the '60s, this has no appeal.
