Rim and Tire Question - Drag Radials

I am looking to put an 18" rim on the back of a Ford GT to run Drag Radials at a race next weekend.

Does anybody know if it will fit or recomend a combo.

I did a search but didn't see anything, thanks in advance. :cheers

Stage 6 used a nitto 305 x 18 tire and I think the rim was off of a cobra r. Maybe contact them

what about the 345/30/18 bfg's?

Question, might the shorter tires effectivley change the rear end gear ratio and have a positive affect on acceleration?
