Qualifying 4th & 3rd for Fri. & Sat. race in a 22 car field. Fri. race had a big crash on the first lap and took out the FGT. Repaired the car and finished 2ND in the main Sat. event. Gallardo won FGT second ahead of F430, Z06, 997, and A.M. DBRs9. Another fine finish...........GO BLU

The GT-R is a great performance value, although the best numbers Car and Driver could squeeze out of the one provided to them for their July issue was 0-60 in 4.3 and the 1/4 in 12.1 at 115mph, which is slower than a much less expensive C6 Corvette. Car and Driver commented the test GT-R was slower than one they tested prior to the article and another they tested after the article. Maybe the July issue reflects a non-juiced car from Nissan :biggrin. Regardless, a better decision for Americans interested in improving our economy is to buy a C6 or Z06 or a performance Modified Mustang :cheers

If you use the market price the bang for the buck doesn't hold up too well. Besides, putting it nicely, if is not particularly good looking car.

Luv that GTR

I love the GTR because it makes our GTs flyweights in comparison!
