Hi Guys, I ordred a GTX1 from Ganaddi designs and since the car is going to be in the shop, I do want to go with some more options. Do you see any must have options on the list? I will be getting the ones with an asterisk already. Is there anything else I should consider since the car is going under the saw anyway? BTW I have narrowed down the colors to Guardsman Blue with white stripes , or candy appleish chrome red with white stripes (pending one last look at a pallette book that is getting fed exed to me tomorrow).

Thanks guys!

Do you plan to track the GT? If you do, you need some more upgrades !!

Satellite Stereo with cup holders? What kind of speakers?

It all comes down to your height, what you want to do with the car (track, drive or run it!).

125 HP upgrade with the Borla would be a great start for any of the above.

Cup holders are out as the car is just to much fun to drive. With my luck I'd be sipping on something and end up crashing into someting else.....

Take some kind of radio upgrade (satellite sounds good) and the transmission cooler is a must.

MK,

Here are the options I'm getting.

GTX1 Prototype wheels, tires, shocks
Silver Grommet Sparco Seats
GTX Floor mats
Convenience package(Ya, I know, cupholders :wink )
Lower drivers seat
Sony Xplode audio(they'll rip out the Macintosh rear speaker for sure)
Transaxle cooler
Electronic fire suppression

I opted not to get the "performance" stuff at this point(other than the suspension upgrade) I'll prolly have my own guys do the trick engine stuff down the road some. I'll let some of you experiment a bit more before I take THAT plunge :thumbsup

I can' wait to get this baby done!!

You will NEED a ROLLBAR if you plan to TRACK your GT !! It is about $800.00.

Of note, the GTX1 guys mentioned that one of the options is a removable rollbar for the car that doesn't hinder getting in & out. I know this was mentioned as a problem on other threads...

AMB, I won't be tracking this particular GT. Just some "spirited" touring and cruising :thumbsup .

KJ, maybe he was talking to me about tracking it (I will be) :wink .

Here is what I got so far:

Refinish complete exterior of vehicle with custom paint

Racing stripes, no charge for stripes with full paint

Borla full exhaust with headers

Satellite Stereo 5.1 w/touch screen NAV & cup holders

Transaxle cooling system

Painted Brembo logo with Ford GT or GTX1 on calipers

Performance pack upping HP by 125HP

Bright Silver Painted supercharger and cam covers

Also:
Brake Rotors
A back up camera that hooks up to the Nav system
bolt on bolt off roll bar
(possibly) Braided brake lines and braided engine compartment hoses including aircraft grade end fittings.

My color is hard to describe. It is sort of a Kandy Red/Tangerine , burnt Chrome color with white stripes.

I can't wait! :cheers

How does a NAV or LCD screen fit in the spot for the radio?

Tom I am not sure. Mark from Genaddi is fitting it in.

Here is the final , final list. The car has been purchased and it is on it's way (thank you everyone for your suggestions).

It will be Spectra Blue (shown below on a cobra)
