Well today was a real GT owners dream day for me !! I got to meet Sascha Fassbender the Matech GT head master . Sascha is here to help dial in a new GT race car. Today's activities took place at the newly renovated Palm Beach Intl raceway ( formerly Moroso )

The car belongs to George Nolte. One of the picture is of Sascha and George . George and Sascha were gracious enough to let me sit in the race car !! Man this thing is a serious racer !! It is a real work of art and the quality of this car is first rate!! This was a real limited track event. There were some sessions for race cars and high end sports cars..

I was happy to be invited to check out the event.. Of course I had to show up with the GT for support.. To add to the excitement the organizer of the event took notice of Helenor and asked if I'd like to run her on the track... Well hell ya !! what kind of question is that !! They let me join in on the afternoon track sessions.!! I just planed to go watch and later that afternoon I was blasting down the front straight at an honest 160 mph !!

I got some orientation laps with well known racer Guy Cosmo.. As an added bonus I had Anthony Lazzaro as a co- pilot / coach . Anthony drove the Falken Tire Doran race GT in 2008 !! Both Guy and Anthony put Helenor thru a few laps of GT bliss.. It was great to hear their positive comments and praise for the GT !! There is a photo of Anthony and I next to Helenor..

I also spent some time with fellow GT owner and forum member Bill M.. Bill brought out his Heritage theme Mosler !! sweet ride Bill !!

Sascha has invited all GT owners to come see the car at the Miami Homestead event Jan 10th & 11th.. If you are thinking of a dedicated track car you should take a look at this rig !! They are building turn key track cars and they are spectacular !! Sascha will be posting some more info on the coming event.. Mark you calendars !!

Stormcat & Matech GT

Thanks for the photos. Wish I was there. See you in May.

Amazing pictures. Hi Ed!

You lucky dog. Very impressive! You should find out who does their carbon-fiber work. Do they have bottle holders?

What a way to end the year!! :)
Looking good as always!!
Happy 2009

Engine appears to be wet sump - is that correct?

I am thinking the red calipers on the black wheels need to match the center caps.

And those legs please cover them up next time:rofl:slap

And I agree with Frank they need bottle holders> I would be interested to know what Roush Yates does for them. I know the rules don't allow Super chargers so I wonder what HP & TQ could be made if we applied there head work to our's with an SC or in some cases TT........and some SCTT:eek

Brian, you look like you are in gt heaven! Can't wait until Homestead.

I just received an Email from Sascha at Matech. They damaged the car in practice and it will not be available for the Miami Homestead event this week end.. :frown
They are going to expedite parts from Europe and try to make the Sebring outing..
