Your very talented and extremely hard working but the care and attention to detail along with all you equipment I believe makes you the best in the US.:thumbsup
Some day you will be able to charge what that guy in England does...that guys gets almost the cost of paint job YIKES.:ack

Seriously people have no idea how you chart the paint and clear coat thickness all over the car and record a bar graph of the car so future work will not take off more clear than allowed. I was surprised how the clear thickness varies all over the car....:eek

The GT will need your attention sometime your in Michigan again.

Detailed & Delivered!

Thanks for the kind words Tom! I would like to make it out to Michigan again soon. Then Atlanta, Seattle, and SoCal =) Someday!

One of the Porsches that I detailed for the 55th Porsche Parade in St. Charles in preparation for the Concours judging on Sunday. It was detailed with the Paragon Detailing Package and is ready for show inside, outside, underneath, and everywhere else in between. The wheels were off to detail the suspension, brakes, inner fender, inner wheel barrels, followed by a complete undercarriage detail. Any hoses, rubber, and plastic underneath was dressed along with components in the engine compartment. The A/C compressor was wet sanded to remove staining and look like brand new. Some of the exterior trim and rubber gaskets were taped off and re-dyed matte black.

We will be delivering another Porsche tomorrow that we prepped for the Concours judging too.

Detailed & Delivered!

1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4
Rosso Nearco

This beautiful Ferrari is only 1 of 180 imported in back in 1972 (505 total production). It boasts a DOHC V-12 engine, six side draft carburetors, a 5-speed gearbox, and a top speed of 167 MPH.

Here I am removing the rear bumper for two reasons. It was in the way of properly polishing the painted rear panel and it needed to be re-died to look brand new. You can see it is dull and faded, and since the outer shell is coated in rubber, it can be dyed to look like 1972 again.

Removing the rear Ferrari script from the trunk lid was necessary because of how bad the finish was before polishing; look at how orange the red finish looks due to the years of oxidation and scratches that need to be polished out. If the script stayed there, it would look like it was mounted in an orange square after polishing was finished:

Here we are re-dying the bumper black. The dye will set and absorb into the rubber shell when it is dry, so it will not be this greasy looking when we're finished, nor will you see any foam brush strokes. We did the same re-dye to the front bumper, but did not need to remove it completely. Instead just removed some turn signal housings and that gave us all the room we needed.

Beautiful result.

Am I the only one who looks at the GTC and thinks "I need to rebody that into a 365GTB/4" ?

2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S
GT Silver Metallic

Prepped it for delivery at the dealership, the owner picked it up last night and loved it. We removed adhesive marks (Which were everywhere), and performed the clay bar service to ensure a clean application of Zymol Vintage was possible. Two corners needed small clear coat restoration, both of which were a slight marring in the finish likely caused by a dirty towel or someone walking too close to the car and brushing the corner with their jeans. Topped it with two layers of Zymol Vintage.

1995 Porsche 911 Carrera

Belongs to a Ford GT Forum Member who's GT sounded incredible upon leaving today :eek

This 911 was covered front to back (Most heavily in the front half) with clear coat over spray. It was painstakingly wet sanded off every panel with careful precision at the soft weatherstripping, painted edges, and plastics. The finish was then polished to an incredible swirl free gloss. If it wasn't raining I could have gotten some pictures outside but here are a few inside the garage.

This is my '95 911. Jason did a great job making it look better than new! In case you haven't figured it out, he is THE guy I recommend for super detailing. Usually I don't trust others to work on my car, because I'm afraid they won't treat it like their own. Jason is the exception, he does better work than I could ever do! Thanks Jason!

I'd love to make the trip :thumbsup But certain terms and conditions must be met...

  1. I have to have a guest suite in Sam's new pad
  2. A sleeping bag, a rolled up T-shirt, and a corner in his new garage will also suffice.

That's about it... :rofl

Detailed the interior of an AMG Wagon for a Ford GT Forum Member :thumbsup

Made the leather look like new again and crevice vacuumed the interior to remove glass dusting from a broken rear window. It was spread throughout the car from all of the wind blowing inside.
