MMP High Flow Fuel Filter Now

Recently we were working on our customers Ford GT that had a fuel delivery problem so we in turn started diagnosing it by ordering a brand new fuel filter. To our dismay we were quoted $166.56 retail for one as they are a throw away item. Well I said I am going to make one for the GT owners that will be able to bolt right in with no modifications required and will have a replaceable or washable fuel filter element. This fuel filter will flow 2,000 lb/hr with a pressure drop of less than 1psi. This is a must have especially for you GT owners that run high octane fuels as they are not filtered as well as gas you purchase at your every day gas station. Approximate install time is 1 hour.

lthlvpr - The fuel filter is on the passenger side of your GT right next to your oil canister. Once you look at it you will see how easy it is to change.

How much are the replacement elements and can they be purchased locally?

STORMCAT - The 10 or 40 micron replacement elements are only $19.99 each. They can be purchased from any company that sells Aeromotive, SX or Weldon fuel filters.

Could you expand a bit on the three micron options? I understand the holes in the screen are different sizes.... but what are the advantages/disadvantages of the three sizes?

Also, I notice your filter looks longer than the OE. Are there any fuel line length issues? Could you post some photos of the filter mounted in place?
