I love the conveniance of Keurig. Ralph is right that they are not a hot as what you get at 7/11 for instance but I am ok with that. One issue is tap water can stop it up after awhile. I use bottled water.

We've had a Breville for about 6 years that still works and looks great for espresso. Not sure of the model, they probably don't make that one any longer anyway. It was about $500.
for drip coffee there is only one machine - http://www.technivorm.com/
for Espresso and Cappucino I love this machine - well built and works great at reasonable price with good support and warranty. - http://www.chriscoffee.com/products/...so/minivivaldi
Don't underestimate the coffee used and the grinder - as important if not more important than the machine.
FWIW - Starbucks has introduced their latest coffee thing. Interesting machine. They are using the razor and the blade business model. Machine is cheap, but man oh man you'll rack it up on the disposable pods. A singlel at home latte will cost you $2.30. I understand it is a good cup though. The announcement of this is what tanked the Green Mtn stock earlier this year. If you buy the machine, hedge the cost aand buy their stock.

Proven business model invented by Gillette :)
The Keurig guys figured it out too. I do like my machine though and have two cups from the same "cup" every morning.
