    A salute to the 3 GT40s that 46 years ago today, at 4PM French time, rolled across the Finish Line of the "24 Heures du Mans" with a Victory for Ford Motor Company, Shelby American and Holman Moody!

    The 1-2-3 finish by Ford in 1966 was apparently unrecognized or forgotten in this year's 1-2-3 win by Audi. Sigh.

    I'd take that bet. Cash flow of the Company is significant and on the increase. It would make sense to see some of the incremental spend go to some others forms of racing where there is a more direct correlation to transfer of technology. The loyalty argument (OEM brand) for spending in NASCAR is weakening ~ that sport has become about the drivers. Time to look forward for the racing spend.
