I understand that the cars are built for different purposes somewhat. But what are the distinctives that push a prospective buyer towards '13 Boss 302LS versus '13 GT 500? Weight? Suspension? Brakes? other? I'd appreciate Ron and others opinions. Assume stock configuration on each except for the SVT track package on the GT500. I'm beginning to look, but in no hurry. I've never owned a Mustang except my '64 1/2 289 in the mid 60's! Bert

    Bert ,
For me being a track guy the Boss LS was the only choice .Its designed to be a track day car.All your above questions Weight ,suspension are the main reasons. The Gt 500 might beat the Boss for a lap but not for a whole session with comparable drivers. Not only that the normally aspirated motor rocks ! 7,600 RED LINE! .
Here are some new pictures with the 302s suspension The car sits a bit lower .Looks much more squatty !
Roll bar ,front spoiler , laser jammer and Aim dash /data going in next!

Congratulations on the car Ron, the Limerock video is some awesome smooth driving. The car looks to get really light over the crest after what appears to be turn 6 !
