Here's the other side of the story. Wife and I have been traveling a bunch in the motor home and just went all the way up US 1 Santa Barbara to Crescent City, and then over 199 to Grants Pass Oregon. I'm driving a 25000 lb coach pulling a 4 door Rubi and it's 1,000 miles, one lane each way filled with 15 mph turns and many many grades. I pulled over regularly when even 1 car would be trapped behind because I do know what it's like to be trapped behind a big slow pig. I'll bet I pulled over more than fifty times and believe me it's a real tug to get that thing rolling again on a upgrade and NOT ONE single driver gave me a "thank you" for be courteous wave, (however nearly every biker did). Towards the end of the trip I stopped pulling over until I had the legal limit of 5 behind. So the moral of the story is which came first, The Chicken ( arrogant driver that thinks everyone needs to get the hell out of his way) or the egg (traffic slug that's now pissed so wont pull over). Someone pulls over, give them a thank you for being courteous wave.

I hear you Steve...both times those cars pulled over I put my left hand out over the roof and gave them a thumbs up.

Yeeeeeeeeup...agreed. BUT - YOU pulled over. This puke DIDN'T. And the posted speed was 60 if I remember right (remember HE was doing 10-15). He was pulling a 24 ft (or so) 'trailer with a DUELLY! PLUS the shoulder of the road was wide enough to land a 747 on. He could have moved over at ANY time and STILL crawled along at 10-15 if he'd wanted to.

No, this guy was just being a total................ Trust me on this one.

(Edit: If you could have seen the LEO's blood-red face and the STEAM shooting out of his ears when he chewed that bozo out - you'd agree with my take on the situation in a heartbeat!)

Pockets, not taking his side at all and I've been in your shoes frustrated many times. I think most drivers are soooo rapped up in their own little worlds that they're either clueless or could care less as to what's behind them or give a crap as what you may have just done so as keep them going at their chosen pace. Just saying that when someone does make an effort to pull over for you it's nice to have that effort acknowledged. Sorry for the high jack, looks like I missed a fantastic drive!

Man that looked like fun. Perfect weather, no traffic, lots of curves. Sorry I missed it.

You would have made us an even dozen GTs!

RVKing has pledged to put together a run for us down in your neck of the woods later this year...hopefully that will be in sync with your calendar.

Tachy, most all the setting are default mode.

To answer you specific questions, I used the "r5" Resolution mode, the highest one, 16:1. I used the "SPt" setting for Exposure, as that is the recommended setting for when the camera is inside the car and you want it to focus on scenery outside the cockpit.

This time I used the enclosure with the openings in the back (driver's window open, passenger window closed). They work best when the speeds are slower. Note how much wind noise there was on Part 1, where at times the speeds were pretty good. I've also used the fully enclosed piece not he track and since both windows are open, it worked pretty well. Hopefully Bruce and Tom will post their videos, their cameras were outside the cars. Then we can hear that set up and compare.
