Thank you, Dave, for another great event! I can't wait to begin planning for R7. Oh wait, I already have.

A little late, but Thanks for another great rally, Dave!

Plus, it looks like the GT Guys have located the cause of my overheating problem. Another radiator from the factory that that apparently was over presurized causing a dislocation of the fins which significantly impacted air flow. Problem since day one with this one. Look out on the track next rally .. I'll be able to make it more than 2 laps before shutting it down!!

I am not glad this happened to you, but it vindicates me on a very old thread where the same exact thing happened to my car.( and some were skeptical that it could happen..since it had not happened to anyone else)............I drove out of the dealership, and in less than 5 miles the car went into limp mode.....the problem persisted for almost 2 years, as my Ford dealer had a hard time figuring out what was wrong. I gave the car to Bob Ida Automotive, with the instructions of not returning it until the problem was solved.......(.Pictures were posted in an old thread) Apparently Ford had a problem with some radiator caps..16lbs caps holding 32 lbs of pressure, and causing the aluminum radiator to expand in size almost 2 inches all around........seeing it was believing it,,,,after the replacement of both...everything went back to normal and acceptable readings............Although the car will definetly get up there on a track........I can do more laps than most........I have installed Evans Cooler..which absorbs heat more efficiently, keeping it away from the engine..........at 245/250, the car does NOT go into limp mode..and it pulls like a freight train.....

    Good luck with your fix......
