Here is my new front bumper & LED lights by Shadowman. Night time desert driving in the summer is too fun!

Thanks for the link GT Venum. My bumper is made by ADD like the Rousch rear bed bar. Same LED lights. ADD has some cool stuff but they are slow & there are a few alignment/design issues. That's why I had Shadowman install (integrate) it for me.

Looks great, Ed! Did you do the top perch mod yourself or did you have a shop lift it?
Eager to get my '13 SCREW. Not sure I'm going to mod it other than maybe lift the suspension up to mid-perch and throw on an exhaust. The aftermarket bumper choices are more plentiful now. Stewart Raceworks in San Diego has a great front/rear pre-runner set up. Sure to be pricey. And the downside is some cutting of the frame is apparently necessary.
Where in NorCal are you located?

    Hi Bonehead

I had a local shop do it but it's easy if you have a way to compress the spring. There are spring compressors that work without removing the shock. I moved the clip to the top groove. It's where Ford tested it at. The lower height was needed for the Feds. You'll have to adjust the headlights & align the wheels afterwards. It'll sit very slightly higher in the front than the back which is how desert trucks should be. The Raptor is designed to go fast over bumps & jumps while other 4W trucks are made to crawl through mud, etc

Youll want to consider talking to Torrie here on the forum, he writes tunes for the gt, and also gave me one for my 6.2 raptor. The change in the shifts is worth it alone, night and day from factory...stock it will be in 6th gear by the time youre going 20mph, with the tune it will hold the gears like it should. Plus you get a hp bump and a few more mpg, im at 13.5 no matter how i drive versus 11...

Cai and a borla exhaust and call it a day...funnest little truck youll own

Thanks Lumber. Does he just do this as a side thing or does he have a shop/website?
I'm not so interested in more HP but better fuel efficiency would be great. My 60 mile/day commute, any help in that department would be welcome.

    Hi Bonehead

The Raptor is my commute vehicle also but even with a tune it's a gas hog! I have a bumper sticker that reads: "Drive more hybrids - I need your gas!"

    Ed

PS I will have to call you BoneEd or something since I usually go by Forum names. We have a GTEd & other Eds. I'm Special Ed since my mama said I was special!

Ha. I have no delusions that I'll be getting 20mpg with this thing. But I suppose any little bit helps, even if it staves off a trip to the pump by one day.

BoneEd is fine:) My username is actually a play on that: BoneHEAD=BoneED.
