T&A lowering kits

Afternoon Guys

I am about to order material for the T&A lowering kits.
As I am nearly sold out.

Unfortunately sales of this low-buck lowering kit have slowed this season.
Making me wonder if the day has arrived to make this kit into a group buy deal.

I am not a big fan of “group buy” programs. But we know there is a limited number of FGT Owners who are interested in modifying there cars.
And to keep the cost this low. We may have to go that direction.

If you are interested in a set in the near future, please let me know.
So I have an idea how much aluminum to order?

No real need for solid commitment or deposits.
I just can not afford to make a large commitment to inventory that takes a year or more to sell.

At the same time I hate to tell people they have to wait for delivery of a back order.
After making the decision to buy a cool new car part (that’suxxs).
Or worse increase the cost with small batch sizes

Hope I am wrong, but it will some day, be time to do “group buys” to keep the cost down?

For the new guys

For the new guys, Our FGT lowering kit has become one of the most popular GT modifications.
It consists of a threaded adjuster that replaces the stock lower spring seat.
Allowing the user to drop the ride height with out the side effects other kits have.
Keeping the stock shock and springs, retaining the production ride quality.

The car becomes visually pleasing, reducing the tire to wheel well gap.

You will be able to tune the corner weights if desired.

A down force improvement can be had by inducing some rake angle.

Center of gravity is lowered

The range of adjustment is from factory height to slightly more than 1 inch lower (front and rear)
Stock is 127mm frame to ground. Will go down to as much as 100mm frame to ground height
(W/ stock tire size)

Is completely reversible if you elect to go back to stock height.

No fabrication or modification required.

A spring compressor & a wheel alignment will be required.
Most are installed by FGT tuners. But some owners have installed them at home.

This lowering kit is a great product, worked exactly as described. Later I replaced it with the 3-way Penskes.

I have done the quality inspection and started putting FGT Lowering kits in boxes to ship.

I now have 8 sets ready to go. And we have more than 8 on our group buy list.
So I will ship to those first 8 in order of the date they sent an email showing interest in purchasing.

And then start a second group buy to make sure everyone who wants a set will receive one.
