my daily interactions with Bony.........

Years ago when I first met Bony at Detroit, we started sending jokes files/ e-mails back and forth. I know many also were on Bony's list including Chris, Todd and others...

It started slow but on average there were 10- 25 jokes per day Daniel sent ~ 250+ per WEEK! Every Saturday morning I would go through them and forward the best 50 to my other list... I typically did this early Saturday and many time my laughter woke the house up!

The last e-mail came in on Saturday at 11:21 EST, a forwarded joke I sent him that AM with Cooter and Ray the Rednecks.......

You will be missed Daniel...... May your Opus- X never go out and your glass of Makers Mark always be full

I share your experience and sentiments Mike. I always looked forward to Daniel's joke emails. The last one I got was at 11:41 EDT on Saturday...video of a guy with tacks on his head. God, I will miss him.

I've just been reading through some of the many old emails, and now I wish I'd saved them all. There was some really, really, funny stuff in there. And not just the manufactured forwards, but the commentary about situations or people that has left me laughing out loud alone in the office.

We'll all miss those emails.

I like many of you also received Bony's frequent, mostly insightful, sometimes funny e-mails. The thing I used to enjoy most was when he would send e-mails out from his Blackberry and obviously would hit the "Reply All" button. I was often bewildered by many of his e-mails that were meant for others, but also sent to me. It gave me insight into how busy he remained and I was always in awe at how he could moderate the forum and keep up with all that he had going on at any given time.

I have 306 emails saved from Bony and those are just the saved ones. I have deleted FAR more than that. My daily life will forever be different. I can not remember the last time I went a day without an email from Bony......

Patty and I were really looking forward to our GT cruise to the Mod Resort 5/15 & 16 to see Daniel and Lorna once again as we all had a great time before. Cigars, JW BLU, and very fine conversation. God, we'll miss him......and please God bless Lorna.........GO BLU

I was on Bony's "military email list". Any interesting email that dealt with America's finest, Bony would forward to me. From "uniforms" painted on young models to videos of carrier landings, it was easy to see that Bony wore his patriotism with pride.

guys I thought man this guy really is something and cares as he would e-mail me often with responses questions uplifting words of encouragement. But after reading all the posts I am taken back that he did the same for so many others.

I think he is still watching over us.

I was on my way to the office this morning on a country highway thinking about Bony and his family. So I decided it was a good time to pray for them.

As I did I just let off the gas a bit for some unknown reason. Just then a lady in a Neon ran a stop sign at a high rate off speed. I did not have time to react. how she missed my door I will never know. When the dust cleared I was not even touched. You would have had to be in the car to understand how certian this was going to be a high speed broad side into my door.

I got to beleive Bony is enjoying heaven at this very moment.

All of have to admidt, no words can describe this loss. So many of us all over the world and we all felt so special by just knowing him.
