Very Sad News - We have lost a great friend... Daniel Bonyhadi passed away yesterday
Daniel Bonyhadi passed away yesterday. He was involved in a shooting accident yesterday at a local shooting range.
I am still in shock. Daniel was such a great friend. He was always more concerned for others than he was for himself. He has worked to raise money for so many charities... I could not begin to name them all. He would email me daily with something funny and always brightened my day with his posts on the forum.
Bony and I were having a carbon fiber race to see who could install the most CF on our GT's. He beat me hands down. He and I would always kid that his car was lighter because his white GT weighed less than mine because he had no stripes and mine did.
Bony asked me if I would send in a reference for his CCW application. I told him in fun that he asked the wrong person. I told him I would have to tell them everything. I was looking forward to going target shooting with him. He actually just joined the Viper Club as an associate member of the region I am the president of. He enjoyed his first cruise with us a few weeks ago. I was always so proud of this man for what he has done for our community. His heart was huge. I can't stop thinking about him.
Please say a prayer for him and his wife Lorna and family. The memorial service looks like it may be held on Thursday. I will post when I hear it is set.
RIP Daniel..... we will all miss you.
