it is what it is but I don't paid to be a fashion critic. It would not be on my list of all time dream cars.. I think this GM car has more drama and went 290 MPH lol !!

I think this is actually one of the better looking cars they have built in recent years I just never liked the center seat idea....

I like McLarens, but this is a disaster. While touted as 1,000hp, it's probably closer to the 720's mid-700 ICE, as the electric motor probably does not contribute to the cars top speed. But still, over 100hp more than the 30-year old F1 (has less power than the new Ford GT) and not even 10mph faster top speed when it looks like something designed for Bonneville. The F1 has a very short tail, is naturally aspirated, and has timeless looks. This may age as well as the futuristic spaceship cars from the 70s.

The entire hybrid supercar thing is gimmicky to me. Build either a great ICE car or a great electric car.

The side camera screens look terrible. I can’t believe they went to all that effort and didn’t integrate them or orient them to avoid visual obstructions.

Agreed. Plenty of space at the top of the pillar.

“Umm, what do we do about the camera screens?”

“Grab some old ipads and jam them in the corners behind the dash. No one will notice.”

Maybe too close to the driver. Not sure a screen at the top of the pillar in the 05 FGT would work for me.

This is a pretty cool photo. I like the roof area.

The extra ipads do look out of place for sure

Gentlemen,

I don’t even know where to begin here. In 1982 early in my two decade stint as a Pontiac dealer we were treated to a new Trans Am with similar “Aero Disc” covers on all 4 wheels. The dealers hated the way they looked and so did customers. “These make the coefficient of drag lower” the factory rep told us. “Those ugly discs will lower the coefficient of sales even more” was my response. A year later those stupid looking wheels were discontinued. ..........

But then, perhaps I’m too harsh.

Chip

Maybe a little bit harsh, Chip, but to those of us that grew up with KITT, the aerodiscs were the epitome of cool.

Apparently some of the stylists at GM didn't get the message either, as a similar wheel popped up at Buick a decade later!

At any cost/ performance, that car is still butt ugly...if it was a woman, I'd shoot her to put her out of her misery...
