I had a volcano red Mclaren - one of my wife's favorite colors of all times.
Is liquid red one of the standard GT colors now?

No it's an upgrade. Liquid red, liquid blue and I think liquid silver/gray ??

yes - the 'liquid' colors are a $5000.00 up charge.

Yes great shots. As I have said in the past, this liquid red is the best red I have seen including all other brands and the other F brand.

I actually wrote this post last weekend. I usually write all my blogs for the coming week on the weekends because I don’t have time otherwise. When I saw this discussion start on Sunday afternoon I almost moved the scheduled date up for this blog post. But I let it stay on its original schedule for today.

Regardless — as noted by others, and the topic of this post I wrote on Saturday, Liquid Red is one of my favorite colors for a new Ford GT. Ford’s paint engineers totally nailed it.

I am really glad I selected the liquid red. I almost pulled the trigger on going for a custom color but when I saw the sample it was not as nice as the liquid red. Love the color in the sunlight! It's a bit more of a deeper red inside the garage.

Me too! Nervous anticipation, because the Liquid Red on its own looks so incredibly good I hope I haven't over cooked it.

I wouldn’t worry about it at all. The stripes aren’t too wide. I think it’s going to look perfect. I love the Alan Mann connection.

Agreed. The colors always looked complimentary on past racing cars. On the new GT they should be stunning.

Wow, that’s a close match. My McLaren is Toracco Orange, which I considered as a color for my NGT, but went with The Heritage. No regrets here.
