Potential fire hazard. A recall for leaking hydraulic fluid at rear wing into engine compartment that seems to involve all cars from early on through July 31 this year.

Not a big deal. Seems like a software update. Google Car and Driver.

According to the article, there are some minor hardware changes too, but I agree it isn’t a big deal. As an aside, Ford treated the customer in Germany well by immediately giving him a replacement car.

Anyone can sue anyone for anything but Recalls are a very effective weapon in the elimination or reducing the severity of litigation. This is also a highly sophisticated owner group.

Does the check valve replacement for the rear wing fix this problem?

Here's the full story with manufacturing date window.

Has anyone received a Recall Letter from Ford as yet? If not, please post if and when you do.

Which he put up for sale the minute he got it

From my understanding it's actually more complex than that. He received the car and felt uncomfortable with it so offered it directly to his business partner who took it on the understanding agreement that it wouldn't be sold... but then it appeared on the market very soon thereafter anyway.
