During delivery Steve mentioned closing the rear hatch over top of latch. If your car is like mine there is a temptation to apply too much pressure and not be precisely over the latch . I managed to crack my rear glass panel in the process. Concierge, Milikken took care of things immediately but don’t be me . Hopefully these pictures help. The blue glass cleaner sheet is over the latch. Always push down easy at this point.

Good Point, as it seems like you always want to slam it because it is such a large rear hatch opening. I’ve noticed putting pressure at the edge of the hatch (at the brake light) edge won’t lock down the hatch! Thanks for the post GTDrummer!

Correct. It is a very precise point or else it will not latch and your temptation is to push hard or even slam and that glass has a lot of flex in it.

And I still keep wiping clean the fingerprints that I repeatedly put there. I guess I have the spot memorized.

So Ford knows there is an issue but haven't provided a "push here sticker"?

No issue if you do it right, but damn, Jeff a sticker would look good.

Lightweight solves two problems - plastic window so no glass to crack, and no latch to push anyway!
