Default Ford GT 2005 3D Model

    Hi Ford GT community,

a short introduction of myself. My name is Bernd Montag and I am a 3D artist with a passion for cars.
Since a few years I spend my freetime 3d modelling a full detail Ford GT 2005/2006.

Here your can see some screenshots from the untextured model:

If you are on facebook you can also check out the work in progress album on my page:

Currently I do the front compartment.
The reason I post this here is the missing reference I have for the front compartment cover hinge system.
I found some good reference images for other parts here in this forum but not of this area.

Does someone have photos of the hinge system I could use as a reference?
I would be very pleased if you guys could help me here.

If you have some questions feel free to ask.

    Thanks a lot in advance!

    Best regards,

    Bernd

Hi Bernd - I’m in the U.K. and have quite a few GTs in our shop all the time - often in a state of disassembly. I’m sure I can help. I could set up a Dropbox folder and photograph anything you need.

Loving the detail in your work.

    Hi Dave,

    that sounds fantastic!
Thanks a lot for your offering! The Dropbox folder sounds good as well. Seems to be an efficient way.

I will contact you via PM for details.

    Thanks again!

    Hallo Bernd,

Hi Bernd - I have sent you a reply to your PM though I'm not convinced it worked. Probably easier to send me an email and I can link you to the dropbox folder.
