Oil Pressure Sending Switch Electrical Connector

I am in the process of changing my oil pressure sending switch and have a question........what is the trick to removing the electrical connector in the switch?

It looks like it should pull right off, but I don’t want to break it. AND there are two red plastic tabs on each side of the connector that look like they are part of the trick. I have put a light & mirror to see behind the electrical connector, but that didn’t give me any “ah HAH!” moments.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I figured it out...….the small red tabs needed to be properly disengaged. To do so, I pushed one end of the red tab and when I did, the red tab moved about 1/8". This allowed me to disengage the electrical connector from the pressure switch.
