FYI, I was able to make a removable fire extinguisher mount by having a custom bracket made up and combining it with Rennline off the shelf parts. With the "trunk" empty it fits in nice for storage.

How are you attaching it to the seat area?

I removed the two nuts that attache the front of the seat bottom to the tub. Slide it on the studs and reattach the nuts. The plate is 1/8" thick so there is plenty of stud height.

Cool! I’ll need an in-car extinguisher for when I run Big Bend next year in the new GT

Seat bottom removal is simply 4 nuts, on studs. Passenger side has seat belt weight sensor. This extinguisher mount is perfect. Well done

Nice design I have a similar unit installed in my 2006 GT by Safecraft!
