Hey everyone,

I am trying to decide who to use to "wrap" my NFGT. I was just wondering if anyone has tried the quartz coating on a new or old GT?

Thanks Chad

Ceramic coating was done on my New 2017 GT after the total clear XPel wrap was completed.

We went full wrap, they then have applied the ceramic coating, no clue how it looks, as its still in process. As suggested above the ceramic coating will not stop impact and chips. Im suspect this car will have impacts in places not expected, just like the 05 (roof, and especially the "hips")

most of my cars have PPF and coating on top. The most recent in the last few years is CQuarty but earlier used opti coat and others. Good to have.

I’ve had several with Cquarts and several with Gtechnic. I am overwhelmingly a Gtechnic fan.

I have not heard of Gtechnic before. Will need to ask my guy about that.

I'm a big fan of a full xpel wrap.
The key is 2 fold .The pre wrap paint correction and a master installer of the xpel.
The ceramic coating on the film is a wonderful addition .Really makes it pop as the film has a clear coat on it.

It depends on what you mean by a "full wrap".

... but for my car:
--full top wrap with .008" thick Xpel includes roof, engine cover
--body lower , rockers, front air dam parts and door bottoms with .010" thick Xpel
--no wrap on the center area of the rear Facia
--no wrap on any underside of the car components
--no interior parts since mine are all alcantera
--single layer of either .008 " or .010 "as noted above
Approximatey $5600.00

If you have the belly pans removed and covered that adds considerable effort and cost I am told.
