Short of a major chassis/body redesign, it appears that the (retro air exit appearance) is what you need to get (competitive) improved front downforce (and cooling?). Not sure it does much to help in the drag department tho.

I like the look of the car overall. Interesting that the Carbon Rev wheel tech was first legitimized by FMC on a lowly Mustang, before making it's way up to the most hardcore Ferrari as essential tech. Like the shape of this wheel. Seems like with each successive generation they are getting more and more refined and closer to the design flexibility you get with a traditional alloy wheel.

Wheel/tire fitment is still way too 4x4.

I won’t end up with a Pista, but I sure love my 488. Much better than I had hoped.

Yeah, those are some of the best CF wheel designs I've seen so far.
