I spend way too much time in the office .... so I keep adding stuff I find beautiful and cool to look at :wink

This is about the biggest piece of art that will fit through the door :rofl:facepalm:

What do you think?

Damn. What a bunch of sissies. :lol

That’s a great idea. Doing a wheelstand is even better.

:rofl:rofl

Absolutely ..... I´m pretty sure it would try to kill me as soon as I got on it.

No - I´ll not ride this bike just yet ... it´s just a piece of eye candy for my office - next best thing to having Eva Mendez sitting in a chair in front of me  :lol :wink

The bike is for pure investment/eye candy purpose .... a 2005 999R ... street bike - but one of the homologation bikes for the 2005 race model. I think they made about 200 in total. This one is #198.

I think I´ll stick to 4 wheeled fun for now :wink

:cheers

Beautiful!
As we age the idea of "self preservation" becomes more a "reality".
Stay safe!

come on man you got to ride it a little. I've been restoring this 78 XLCR 1000 for an office bike, no where near as fast but always wanted to have one since I was a kid.

Like I say about cars: Bikes are for riding (especially Ducatis). If you want art, get something you can hang on the wall!

I've owned "a few" bikes. Currently I ride a 2017 Harley Davidson Electraglide.

Nice XLCR. I admired those since a Navy Flight school buddy had one in 1981, and I almost bought one back in the mid-80's. Now they're collectibles. I also admired the XR1000 in 1986, and almost bought one of those, but I just didn't fit on it very well. I put the more recent XR1200 in the same category, but it's a much better handling and riding bike than its predecessors. Hmmmm, now you've got me thinking about it again...

Talk to Ed. He has a bike addiction as well. Sweet Ducati buddy.

I'm thinking about getting one of these for a new play toy.
